Personal Defender 2009

Personal Defender 2009 is a malware disguised as a security tool. This is not a new way to trick people and gain a purchase, but Personal Defender 2009 uses additional misleading tactics to make things work.

PersonalDefender2009 is not able to infect computers on its own; instead, it tricks people into downloading the program voluntarily. PersonalDefender 2009 is delivered by trojan mupd1_2_1711951.exe. Pyro AntiSpy

PyroAntiSpy infects computers through Zlob, Vundo and similar trojans. It loads large amounts of pop-up messages and system tray alerts trying to scare people with fabricated infection reports. The main purpose of this annoying behavior is to gain a purchase by convincing victims that Pyro Anti Spy is a security tool.
Do not trust Pyro AntiSpy! It can neither locate nor erase computer parasites because Pyro Anti Spy is a malware itself. It may download and install other parasites on the compromised machine. Remove PyroAntiSpy as soon as possible.

SecureExpertCleaner

SecureExpertCleaner is a new rogue anti-spyware program – a fake spyware remover, which uses trojans, such as the infamous Zlob or Vundo, to enter the system. SecureExpertCleaner is not unlike any other rogue – it tries to mislead the user into thinking he is infected, thus creating better chances for itself to get purchased. This is done by displaying popups and fake system notifications, and providing falsified system scan reports.

SecureExpertCleaner doesn’t appear to have a company behind it, or at least there is absolutely no information on it anywhere on the web. Either way, such behaviour is not commonplace among computer security companies.

SecureExpertCleaner is a scam and should be treated as such: do NOT download or buy it and block it’s homepage using your HOSTS file.
