Jqs.exe is a process related to Java, more precisely speaking, the Java Quick Starter which was designed to improve the startup time of Java applets and applications, but the rogue anti-spyware application Windows Security Suite identifies it as possible security threat. The process is not essential and may be stopped, but you shouldn’t delete it. The fake Windows Security Suite alert about Jqs.exe reads:

“Windows Security Suite Process Control. An unidentified program is trying to access system process address space. Process name: jqs.exe
